Mission Statement:

The objectives of St. Mary and St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church in Tlyacapan, Mexico

1. To promote the Christian lifestyle and to educate the community about the faith of the Coptic Orthodox Church by:
1. The administration of the Liturgy and the Sacraments of the Church
2. Pastoral work
3. Teaching Christian doctrines through positive public relations, and by hosting Sunday School and other forms of educational outreach.
4. The education of spiritual topics, and the study of the bible.
5. Hosting group activities which emphasize Orthodox Christian culture through spiritual / bible studies, trips, etc.
6. Engaging in social services such as:
1. Helping treat and support victims of alcohol abuse
2. Humanitarian response to emergency or ongoing situations or to those in improvised circumstances.
1. Such as providing necessities of food, water and clothing.
2. Collaborating with the broader Christian community.
3. Realizing and engaging in evangelism/mission work.
4. Promoting the unification of the Christian community.
5. Teaching the community good Christian principles, based on love, work, honesty, tolerance, peace and equality like true children of God.
6. Engaging in activities not in pursuance of profit but for the purpose of achieving the goals and objectives of the Church.
