From the Mexico City Airport (MEX):
The Church is in a city called Tlayacapan, in the state of Morelos. It is about a two hour bus drive when there is traffic from the Mexico City Airport (MEX).

1. Take a bus from the airport to a city called Oaxtepec. Please note that if you have a layover in Mexico, you are more than likely to arrive in terminal 2. If this is the case you will have to take a shuttle or an air tran to terminal one. You may ask any of the information desks and they will be more than helpful in telling you how to get there.
   1. You can get a ticket from a "Ticket Bus" counter or an "ADO" counter - you'll run into quite a few as you follow the signs to get to the bus stations.
   2. The clerks at the counter will guide you to the location of the Bus Station.
      1. On the Second Floor (opposite the food court / resturants and above entrance 3, which is on the first floor), you'll find bridges that cross over a road to get to various locations. Look for the one that leads to the Hotel "Camino Real" or ADO Bus Station.(This is the second bridge on your right). You'll cross over a glass/metal bridge over a road that will lead to you to a hotel called "Camino Real." Except when you get towards the end of the bridge, make a right into the ADO bus station.
      2. If you get lost, just ask directions for the Hotel “Camino Real.”
   3. When you reach the bus station you'll find an ADO counter and a lounge to relax in and wait for your bus. Just walk out to the buses at the time of your bus and they'll tag your bags and give you claim tickets before they put it under the bus. Just ask the guy if the bus is headed to Oaxtepec to confirm that you’re taking the right bus.
2. When you get to Oaxtepec, you'll hear the guy yell out the name of the city when you stop. Currently (as of June 2008), this is the first stop on the route. From that city, you take a 10 minute cab ride to the church (La Igelsia de Santa Maria y San Marcos). The cab ride should cost around 50 pesos. The bus stop is on the same exact street as the church. See the enclosed map and links. The cabbie will most likely confuse this with the historical site that is about a 15-20 minute walk from where our church is. So just keep an eye out for our church. It will be on the left and you'll see it towering above the other buildings as you approach. See the photo album pictures so you can recognize it.Once you arrive to the church just point and tell the cab driver "Akee porfavor"

From Taxqueña Bus Station (Mexico City Bus Station)
1. If the above listed bus times are not convenient or you are not coming through MEX, then you can take a bus from the main bus station in Mexico city.

2. After you leave customs and arrive at the gate, find the taxi booth. The taxi should not cost more than 200 pesos. (This may cost more than a regular taxi on the street, but is much safer.)

4. When arriving to Taxqueña, you can take the OCC Bus to Oaxtepec. The trip is about 2 hours.
